Meet Our Board

Donna Richter – President

Donna, originally from Virginia, is a graduate of Roanoke College and the Wake Forest School of Law. She and her husband, Rick, moved to Rock Hill from Chapel Hill, NC, and have made Huntington their home for over 30 years. As a resident of Rock Hill, she has served on the Commission for Children and Youth, helped develop the Rock Hill Youth Council, and was very active in her sons’ schools, especially at South Pointe, where her son John was a member of its first freshman class. Because of her family’s interest in cycling, she lobbied the Rock Hill City Council to build its cycling venues in Riverwalk and later worked on staff for the City to develop community relations at both the Giordana Velodrome and the Novant Health BMX Track. She is a member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she has served as Church Council President, chair of the Public Relations committee, and co-chair of a capital campaign. Donna enjoys walking her dogs in the neighborhood and exercise classes at the Wedgewood YMCA. She considers herself a “foodie” and enjoys cooking. She also likes watching all sports, especially football, traveling, and spending time with her granddaughter, Ellie.
